Blueberries & milk... may seem insignificant to some, but means worlds to Julie and I. When we were little girls, Aunt Lois watched us for my Mom one morning at the farmhouse. She made us farm-fresh blueberries and milk in pretty crystal cups for breakfast. Amazed, we thought, Wow, we'd never had this sweet and yummy breakfast before! That simple sweet treat made us feel tremendously loved without words; smiling ear to ear we indulged in our blueberries & milk and felt like the most special nieces in the world that day. As one of our most vivid and fondest memories of Aunt Lois, forever forward her love and memory happily comes to mind every time we see a blueberry or make that adored breakfast treat. It profoundly impressed upon us the power of sharing love through food; a value we endure to practice and truly cherish with our loved ones. Blueberries & milk, a sweet treat from a sweet Aunt, a super fruit dedicated to a super lady. With her love in our hearts always, her loving nieces, Holly Leahy & Julie Van Nuland

Lois was more a sister to me than a sister-in-law as well as a best friend. When she first married my brother, Clem, my sister's, Karen and Kathy, and I went to her new little apartment where she welcomed us with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a special friendship that will last through eternity. I much admired Lois for her upbeat view of life no matter the circumstance. She was always there for me to discuss whatever little life troubles or happy events occurred. I viewed her as one of the best wife, mother, relative and friend that God put on this Earth to share with so many of us. I will miss her tremendously.
