Obituary
MADISON-Floyd Collins, age 71, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born on July 25, 1946, in Fennimore, the son of William and Virginia (Frye) Collins. Floyd graduated from Fennimore High School in 1960. He was in the U.S Army Reserves and was honorably discharged. Floyd was united in marriage to Donna Townsend on Feb. 19, 1966. He was a city bus driver for 18 years and owner of Packer-Inn in Madison for 19 1/2 years. Floyd loved being at the cabin and working outside. Floyd is survived by his wife, Donna of 51 years; son, Kurt (Cyndie) Collins; grandson, Kurt Collins, Jr.; and eight siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Hank Kratochville; and three sisters. In keeping with Floyd’s wishes, no services will be held.

I will always remember what a great boss and friend I had in Floyd. He gave me a great chance to work for him at the Packer, where I met many great friends and people, including his wonderful wife, Donna.
I am very sorry to hear he has passed and will always remember his quiet smile and great personality.

To the family: So sorry for your loss. Floyd was a good friend and classmate of mine and we ran around and roomed together out of school Glad I had a talk with him a couple weeks before he passed and glad that we visited with him and Donna at their cabin this last fall. We will miss seeing them in Florida. We planned to meet up with them there. We wish the best for Donna and the family and you have out deepest sympathy.
