MADISON/WAUNAKEE-Vickie Ziegler, age 56, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born on Feb. 15, 1961, in Madison, the daughter of Stanley P. Ziegler and Mary G. (Schumacher) Ziegler Schwenn. Vickie was a graduate of Waunakee High School. She was an avid Badger and Packer fan. Vickie loved puppies and kitties and her hobbies were reading and watching movies. She worked for St. Mary’s Care Center for almost 35 years. Vickie is survived by her siblings, Michael R. (Virginia) Ziegler, Colleen (Francis) Meinholz, Cathy (Shell) Hodgson, Stanley J. Ziegler, Walter (Wendy) Schwenn; 12 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sharon Ziegler. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Beautiful smile to brighten others' day and care giving was Vickie's moto. She enjoyed going to work each day to work with staff and a very good friend, Kim. Never took vacation, her vacation was being with her co workers. Thank you Kim for cheering the Packers and Badgers on with her, inviting her into your home to have a fun time and a beer or two. Thank You Kim!
