Line't Audrey Jolin

FITCHBURG-Line’t Audrey Jolin passed away at the age of 83 on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at St. Mary’s Care Center, Fitchburg. She was born on Jan. 10, 1934, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Luella and Lawrence Wahl. Line’t was married to Jerrold Ray Jolin Sr. on Aug. 22, 1951, in Northern Wisconsin. She is survived by their four children, Diane Jolin Andreades, Jere Jolin, Lori Jolin, and Reid Jolin. They had eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren who live all over the world. Line’t received her Master’s Degree in music and English at UW-Whitewater where she and Jerrold “Jed” lived for 10 years. They moved to Boulder Junction, Wis., and lived there for the past 12 years. Line’t was the valedictorian of her class at Lakeland High School in Woodruff, Wis. She was an accomplished classical pianist at 10 years old. She grew up in Chicago and her mother would drag her to events to play Beethoven, Bach, and Chopin so everyone could enjoy her beautiful musical talents. She developed her vocal talent in her 20’s and shared them both in church and at home her whole life. Line’t taught music and English at Kettle Moraine High School and was taking credits toward her Doctoral degree and raising her four children when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her 40’s. When it became too difficult to teach, she taught up to 42 voice and piano students out of her home in Whitewater. Her strength, courage, and grace were her biggest attributes. She resided at Saint Mary’s Care Center for the past eight years, where she was known for her sweet kind disposition.
