Obituary
Norma Lorraine Schreiber (nee Niehaus) passed away peacefully at the age of 95-years, on December 22, 2017 following a severe stroke. She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Wendy Anne Schreiber; her grandson, Patrick William Schreiber; her son, Bruce William Schreiber, and her daughter-in-law Janet Edge. She was proceded in death by her loving husband William Frey Schreiber, who passed away in 2009. Originally from Grand Rapids Michigan, Norma and her husband Bill Schreiber resided for many years in Madison, WI; for the last decade, she was a resident of Oakwood East senior living facility. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Oakwood, for their kind support of Mom. Norma was a smart, kind and loving person, who consistently brought joy to those around her. She will be sorely missed! My mother Norma was a very accomplished seamstress. If it was made from cloth, my Mom could turn it into a beautiful product. She made everything: tailored suit jackets, dresses, curtains, and quilts; she reupholstered furniture, and made braided rugs. One of my fondest memories is being a very small child, working with Mom to make tiny doll clothes on rainy afternoons. I miss her very much.
