STOUGHTON-Jeffery Dean Jones, age 63, of Stoughton, passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Nov. 16, 1954, in Ferndale, Mich., the son of Ira and Doris Jones. Jeffery graduated from Stoughton High School. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Jeffery is survived by many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Sandy and Tammy Jones; special friend, Brenda Klade; and several other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, David, Ron, Jerry and Rudy. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time. Jeff and I go way back when he used to bowl when we were you. His father used to work with my late uncle Richard Jacobson in excavating. Jeff taught me quite a bit about pool when I first started shooting pool. He used to tell me what kind of tip I needed for my pool and when he was around he used to scuff my tip for me that was the kind of person Jeff was if a person needed help and he was available he would help them. I'm going to miss my favorite pepper picker. Jonsey always made me laugh even on a scorching hot crappy day. May his soul finally rest in peace along with many of his friends :(
