LODI-Susan Mary (Ryniecki) McComb, age 67, of Lodi, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Jan. 20, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Jean (Lysogorski) and Jules Ryniecki. She married John H. McComb Jr. on Oct. 2, 1969, in Chicago. Susan enjoyed sewing and quilting and enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening and boating. She did a lot of reading and loved her dogs. Susan is survived by her husband, John; children, Christopher (Kelly), Shannon (Dan) Hayes, Sean (Megan), Brian (fiancé Jennifer); grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Grant, Molly and Murphy; and her dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Don. A Memorial Mass will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH, 521 Fair Street, Lodi, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, with Father Scott Jablonski presiding. A celebration of her life and a time for visiting will follow the Mass at LAKESIDE BAR AND GRILL, W10960 Corning St, Poynette. Memorials may be made in Susan's name to Agrace HospiceCare. My first girlfriend, best friend, and the one who holds my most deepest darkest secrets (that’s she’s taken to the grave. Heeheehee)
How does anyone sum up their memory of their MOM? You just can’t, without writing a book. So, instead of being sad and depressed, I choose happiness! I will smile, laugh, and share the most pleasant memories of my Mom- forever! I have 42 years of great things to share for the rest of my life, to my siblings, my children, and Mom’s future great grandchildren, her brother, etc etc etc. the list is endless. Smile and know a beautiful daughter, sister, friend, wife, cousin, niece, sister-in-law, Grandma (Mema), is now an angel to all of us! She’s having a blast up there! And hoping finding out who REALLY killed JFK. Heeheehee Love, your favorite daughter! Lol

We lost a wonderful person, mom, grandmother, and amazing mother-in-law :-( we always had SO much fun together and we feel so very blessed to have lived so close for the last 3 & 1/2 years - visiting lots and making lots of awesome memories!! I came into this great family 14 years ago and she has been simply the best mom-in-law ever <3 We were all so very close to her! We are heartbroken to have lost her but we are comforted knowing she's out of pain now and in heaven with God - looking down at us and watching over us already! We will always remember you Mema in our hearts and memories!!!!!

Susan was my cousin and although we did not have much contact recently, other than FaceBook, I have many happy memories of spending time with her when we were children. There was a time, when we were in elementary school, that we played together, almost every day. Our families all lived within a few blocks of each other, in Chicago. Summers were spent playing outdoors all day. We rode bikes, played at Brooks Park playground and went swimming in the park too. Holidays were celebrated at our at our grandmother's house, and Christmas was one of the happiest. It is so hard to believe that Susie, as we called her, has left us. I hope sharing these happy memories, helps your family smile.

Susie was a very dear friend. Countless memories spending summers up at Long Lake together. I feel so very blessed that I was able to visit with her several times these last few months. She was always a joy to be around and will be greatly missed. My sympathy, prayers, love and hugs to all her family. Alice Witt
