Obituary
MADISON-Gina Ritter, age 47, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at UW Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1970, in Madison, the daughter of Joseph and Nancy (Nash) Scudera. She married Mark Ritter on Oct. 8, 1994. Gina loved her trips to Isla Mujeres. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin and niece, who loved her family with all her heart. In her job she met and touched many peoples' lives. Gina was hard working and the most caring person one could know. She never gave less than her best and she expected the same from each of us. Gina is survived by parents; husband, Mark; daughters, Amber (Rufus) Manuel and Courtney (Bobbie Stephens) Ritter; brother, Joe (Brandee) Scudera; four grandchildren; parents-in-law, Earl (Anita) Ritter; and many other relatives and friends. A casual visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff in TLC at UW Hospital especially Rachel and Karla; they were beyond fantastic and caring.

Gina was a,loving soul with a big heart. The love and comfort she gave to my family when I lost my husband, she went out of her way,to make sure our celebration of life at the Sports Pub went without a hitch. I will never forget her

I only know Gina from her many years at Sports Pub. Our volleyball team has played there on Thursdays for years and Gina always took such good care of us. She was such a hard worker and always had time to give us personal attention. We will miss her greatly and are so sorry for your family’s loss. God Bless.
