Don will be missed. He was my boss for many years and I enjoyed working with him. He was such an easy going man and fair. My prayers go out to Sandy and the family. My deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to you, Sandy and your family, on Don's passing. He and I worked together at MATC and I had a deep admiration and high respect for Don's unwavering dedication to the apprentices, JACs, and all involved in the training process. It is my opinion that Don carried the torch for this facet of MATC's mission, even as many at the college undervalued it. He and I also had multiple myeloma in common and I will be making a donation to the MMRF in his honor. You can be very proud of Don's legacy at MATC, as I am. David and Sally Shonkwiler

Don was a remarkable man and his dedication to apprenticeship was legendary. No one understood the inner workings of systems quite like Don. Don gave me the first opportunities to apply the experience of my plumbing apprenticeship to the worlds of education and administration. We were colleagues for more than twenty years and I am forever grateful for the good natured encouragement of Don and his dedicated staff. Rest In Peace, your legacy lives on. Marge Wood
