Joseph F Nerat

I’ll always remember Joe for how positive and uplifting he was!! He was an awesome role model for his kids and grandkids. I first got to know Joe in the old neighborhood where I live still in Huntley on Barko Parkway and his red scooter that he drove around, after that.... we all had to have scooters😁

The volunteers, flight team and board of Badger Honor Flight mourn the loss of their hero, Joseph Nerat. We are thankful for his military service and proud to have served him on his trip to Washington, D.C. on October 2, 2010.

We got to know Joe when we visited friends at Our House in Lodi. He was always friendly and positive. He encouraged our friend Barbara to pick up his word search hobby, and she enjoyed this new pastime. Joe will be missed. Sallie & Kirby Spees
