I was a childhood classmate of David's at the Madison SDA church school. We then both transferred to Wisconsin Academy where we graduated in 1977. While in Madison I'll always remember the year he invited all of his classmates over for a birthday party, and that's when we found out what a cool guy he was and so smart. David was a quiet and kind classmate and friend. My deepest sympathies to his wife and extended family for his passing.
