Barbara A. Glover

MADISON/LACROSSE/WINONA, MINN./NAPLES, FLA.-Barbara Ann Glover of Waunakee, died at the age of 75 on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at UW Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1942, in the town of Baraboo, Wis., to Robert and Bernice (Koberstein) Ballinger. She married DePaul R. Zimmerman in August of 1963. Barbara was a strong and independent person, a proud mother and a very loving grandmother. She enjoyed golfing, baking, the warm sun of Florida, going to her grandson’s baseball games and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lori Anne Zimmerman, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Theresa (Thomas) Lee Furan, Waunakee, Wis.;  grandson, Jacob Lee Furan;  siblings, Charlene (Ed) Hefty, Oregon, Wis., and Carole Myers, Sun City, Ariz. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the UW Hospital for the care and compassion shown to their mother. Per Barbara’s request, there will be no services.
