Met Jim 40 some years ago. We both belonged to MAD-CAP Van Club. Lost contact when I moved out of Madtown in the mid-eighties. Jim recently found me on Linkd-In and we re-established contact. Thanks for that Jim. Nothing but good memories, RIP my friend. Steve Ashley

Goodbye old friend. I loved this guy. We met during the Custom Van craze in the early '70's. He was with Mad Cap Vans and I was with Suds City Vans from the Milwaukee area. We met at a truck-in and hit it off right away. We had tons of fun together. Basically two wild child's... We lost touch for decades when I moved up north but through the wonders of Facebook I typed in Jim's name, I actually remembered it after all those years, and his profile popped up. I called and I recognized his voice immediately. Eventually my wife and I drove down to Madison where we met Jim and his fantastic wife, Lynn. What a great time. The Pizza Pit we ate at was great. He drove up to my area last year and the two of us had a ball. You just couldn't find a nicer, warm hearted man then Jim. He was the brother I never had. If the weather permits I'll see you on the 20th. Lynn and family please accept my sincere condolences at his passing. Jack (Truckr) and Doris Mrozinski
