STOUGHTON/MADISON-Michael Alan Beere, age 49, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017. He was born on Dec. 14, 1967, in Kittanning, Pa., the son of Ronald and Claire (Blose) Beere. Michael graduated from Ford City High School in Pennsylvania and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude with his bachelor’s degree. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1995-1998. He was awarded outstanding physical readiness award from the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda in 1996. He met Mark Aulik in September of 2001, and the two married on Feb. 9, 2014, in Hawaii. He worked at Walter Reed Medical Hospital before moving to Wisconsin where he worked as an RN for UW Hospital for the last 17 years on the Med Psych Unit. Michael had a desire to learn and a need to care for others. He adored his niece, Angelica. Michael enjoyed surfing the internet and spent the last six years learning how to and creating a wildflower prairie. He loved working out and exercising, eating healthy, and enjoyed trying out new recipes. Michael is survived by his husband, Mark; parents; brother, Ronnie Beere; sister, Carol (Brian) Bobich; niece, Angelica Bobich; brother-in-law, Jeff (Teri) Rogman; two special friends, Amy Levy and Aeron Adams; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I am lighting a candle of memories for Mike. I have so many wonderful memories of my time spent with Mike while he was taking classes at IUP. They are memories I will always cherish and keep close to my heart. Mike will always have a special place in my heart. I know I haven't seen him since he moved to Wisconsin or that I even talked to him as often as I should have; but, I knew he was the type of friend who I could depend on or call when I needed someone to listen. He always called me on my birthday and normally at Christmas just to see how my life was going and to catch me up on his life. I am going to miss hearing his voice. My deepest sympathy goes out to Mark and to Mike's sister, Carol & family, and to his mom & dad & brother. You will all be in my thoughts & prayers as you grieve the loss of this wonderful man. RIP Michael Alan Beere. You will forever be in my heart dear friend and I will love & miss you always!!
