Eileen Frances Mahlkuch

MONROE- Eileen F. Mahlkuch, age 89, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Eileen was born on March 11, 1928, in Arena, the daughter of Lester and Eva (Stebnitz) Schuldt. She married Robert W. Mahlkuch on June 12, 1948, in South Wayne. After graduating from South Wayne High School in 1946, Eileen attended UW Whitewater for one year. Eileen worked as an associate for JC Penney in Monroe for 31 years before her retirement. Of the many joys in her life, Eileen particularly loved her family, music, dancing, cooking, and watching the Lawrence Welk Show. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Eileen is survived by her daughters; Marilyn Wagner and Melanie (Mike) Roberts; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Burt (Betty) Schuldt and Don (Luann) Schuldt; as well as many other dear friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; and two brothers, Paul Schuldt and Rollie Schuldt. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, with her nephew Jeff Schuldt presiding. Burial will follow at Mazomanie Cemetery.
