Lois Mary Prendergast

MIDDLETON-Lois M. Prendergast, age 97, of Middleton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017. She was born on March 31, 1920, the daughter of Albert and Ada Wilkenson. Lois received a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in education from Roosevelt University. She was an elementary school teacher. Lois was married to James E. Prendergast. She was a member of the Grayslake Lions Club, Illinois Retired Teachers Association and the Lake County Farm Bureau. Lois is survived by her daughter, Lori (Gary) Holmes; and grandchildren, Nate (fiancé Lindsey Mischner), Matthew (Lydia), Kimberly and Kayla Holmes. She was preceded in death by her husband. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017.
