Obituary
MADISON-Jennie Mae Nemec, age 63, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born Oct. 26, 1954, in Madison, the daughter of Edward and Esador (Slinde) Nemec. Jennie was raised by John “Jack” and Aileen Titley. She grew up in the Waubesa Beach Neighborhood, graduating from Oregon High School in 1973. Jennie received an associate degree in Computer Assisted Design at MATC. She worked at Flad and Associates and American Family Insurance as an AutoCAD Specialist. Jennie was a woman with a strong spirit and a warm heart. She loved cooking, hiking, camping, and the outdoors. Jennie was also a close and loyal friend to those who knew and loved her. Jennie is survived by her daughter, Kayla Morris; sister, Betty Sundbakken; brother, Joe Titley; and dear friend, Megan Compton. Jennie was preceded in death by her birth parents; her mom and dad, Jack and Aileen Titley; and brother, Neal Culp. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Rd. Madison, on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Memorials in Jennie’s name may be gifted to Agrace HospiceCare or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. I had the opportunity to work with and get to know Jennie at American Family. She was very dedicated and diligent at her craft. At the same time, her energy and optimism made every interaction positive and productive. On a personal note, I will truly miss our frequent "coffee breaks" where we got to know each other on a personal level. May the good lord keep this gentle soul in a very special place.

I haven't seen Jennie in years. We were good friends and roommates. Lost touch over the last few years. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband, Al, in April and my mom in 2014. Jennie was close to both. I know they're together in heaven.

Jennie was a dear friend of mine. She had the spirit of a thousand horses and determination unsurpassed by many. I will always remember her for her warm heart, quick wit, curiosity for learning, love for all types of music, her experimentation in cooking and her faith in God. And of course for the hours and hours we would spend talking about anything and everything! I will miss you Jennie-girl.

All of us at Flad Architects that worked with Jennie offer our deepest sympathy over the loss of your mom.. She was a friend and terrific co-worker that always made us smile with her sense of humor, energy for exploring nature, new cooking ideas, traveling and embracing life with a positive outlook. I am sorry that I missed the funeral but my heart sends prayers to you, Kayla and family. She will always be in the hearts of your family and her friends.
