RICHLAND CENTER/MUSCODA-John Harper, age 76, of Muscoda, formerly of Richland Center, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Richland Hospital. He was born on Jan. 22, 1941, in Richland Center, the son of Hillman and Pauline (Welsh) Harper. John is survived by two brothers, Robert A. (Judy) Harper of Prairie du Sac, Larry (Joyce) Harper of Oelwein; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; and a brother, Gillman Harper. Someday you and Betty will cruise around in a purple car, just like the one you always wanted to buy me. You would come back from walmart every time and say, "Betty I look for a purple car for you but walmart don't have none. They got red, blue, yellow but no purple, so I got you red". I miss you so much Johnny friend. I miss hearing you call out for me, "Betty, you get me a pop, pretty please". I would do anything to be able to get you a pop again. Rest in Peace Johnny friend, until we meet again...luv u
