A lesson in his favorite game, golf, a few years back we met up at Coachman's for a round, I'm not good, my swing was horrible, after the first hole, his quote to me was " You swing like a baseball player!!!!! No more, we're hitting the driving range!!!!!!" A hour and half later, one sore shoulder, and he improved my swing to that of which I moved from horrible, to...."well at least he knows how to hit it properly!!!!" I'll never be as good as he at golf,he did show me the right way to swing the clubs and enjoy the game more with much less frustration. Wish I had more time for another round with him.
Dave was always a kind, generous, and fun guy to be around, from get togethers, watching a game, or what not he was a great guy!!!!
Rest Peacefully Dave.

Grandpa Dave;
Was a very loving Grandpa who would do anything for his family. Grandpas guidance through my life will continue on from all the wonderful family gatherings, hunting trips, fishing and the occasional wood peckering projects. As we celebrate Grandpa‘s life it is also a great feeling to know he will be reunited with his loving wife Susan. Grandpa passed down his wedding ring for my marriage with my wife Tara and the ring will always be a happy reminder of love.
Rest In Peace Grandpa
Love Jeff

Dave was a terrific finish carpenter. My wife, Pastor Paula Geister-Jones, enjoyed having Dave work on projects around the church at Christ Lutheran. One day near Christmas time I came into church to find Pastor Paula unusually happy.
"What's up" I asked.
"The carpenter's here today" she replied.
"Jesus" I asked?
"No, even better: Dave Christenson!"

David made every day a good day for everyone around him. A twinkle in his eye & a little mischief up his sleeve were the norm. Rest in peace & enjoy your reunion w/Susan. You will be missed.
