Obituary
MADISON-Tony T. Watters, age 61, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at Meriter Hospital. He was born on Dec. 20, 1955, in Viroqua, Wis., the son of Madeline (Sletten) and Albert Watters. He married his childhood sweetheart, Sue Strait on Aug. 23, 1980. Tony was an irreplaceable employee for Mandt Sandfill for 27 years. Tony enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tony is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan; son, Tony Watters; daughter, Jamie (Frank) Alberto; two grandchildren, Xavier (Boo) Alberto and Belle Alberto; eight sisters; two brothers; a half-brother and half-sister; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; father figure, Olie; brother, Ray; special great-niece, Allyson and other family members. A celebration of Tony's life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Friday, Oct. 27th, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
