Marisa Dahms

WAUNAKEE-Marisa Leah Dahms, age 29, of Waunakee, passed away on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, in Dane.  She was born on Nov. 25, 1987, in Madison, the daughter of John Dahms and Rena Cushman.  Marisa was a creative and talented artist.  She had a wonderful sense of humor, with a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone’s day.  She was a loving mother to Olivia, who carries on her famous sense of humor.  Marisa is survived by her daughter, Olivia; mother, Rena; father, John; sisters, Kristin Dahms and her daughter, Lexi, and Ellen Dux-Dahms; brother, Alex Walz; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Witkins; and friends, Stephanie and JT.  A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave, Middleton, from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017.  A GoFundMe account has been established for funeral expenses and future schooling expenses for Olivia: https://www.gofundme.com/marisadahms. Additionally, a special fund has been set up through Monona State Bank for Marisa’s daughter Olivia.
