Courage, true to his convictions, steadfast and faithful to those around him. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend and I will miss him dearly.

Our very dear friend tried to prepare us for the days when he would not be with us. He laughed and joked and "told it like it was". I knew Ken from the VFW in Stoughton. He was always interesting and fun to be around, and the stories he and Doug told about their trips to Florida were wonderfully. His courage at fighting the various health issues that he had showed his true character. I respected him very much for openly stating his love of Mary, which most guys would shy away from, it not being the "manly" thing to do in our weird culture. A life well-lived and gone too soon.
