MADISON-Marcus Melvin Clair, age 32, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held at FOUNTAIN OF LIFE COVENANT CHURCH, 633 W. Badger Rd., Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, with Raymond Davis presiding. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, and also at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.

I will never forget you. You were my first love and you will always hold a part of my heart. I don't think this pain will ever go away but I know that you are not going to suffer anymore. I remember the time that I went to your homecoming with you and the first day I met you at Rollerdrome and I don't think we went one day without talking for the first few years. I remember when you would call my house at 1 am and how mad my dad would get and you still called no matter how mad he got and that's what I loved about you. You never gave up on me. My heart is broken i can't believe my special friend is gone... you always were there for me when i needed you. Whatever it was that I needed you helped me in any way you could even if it was just bringing candy for my baby boy on our lil road trips. Wish I would of been able to see you and hug you one last time! Rest in heaven with Rachael and your other loved ones! Will never forget you.

So sorry for your loss, Clair family. I was Marcus' football coach at East, and I still remember his positive attitude and genial spirit. I am so sad to hear of his passing.
