Obituary
MADISON/ SPRING GREEN/ RICHLAND CENTER-Barbara Blust, 79, of Madison died peacefully at her home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017. Barbara is survived by her three sons, Roby (Linda) of Denver, Colo., Matthew of West Palm Beach, Fl., and Adam of Madison. Also two sisters, Elizabeth of Winnetka, Ill. and Tracy of San Diego, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Anne and Abigail. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and extended family members. Barbara was strong, kind, intelligent and loyal – she loved fiercely and unconditionally. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E Cheryl Pkwy, Fitchburg. My sincere sympathies to all members of Barbara's wonderful family. I was blessed to meet Barbara and spend time with her while working with Agrace. Barbara and I just hit it off from our first meeting, and I enjoyed every second I spent with her. Barbara was an inspiration, she was determined to live her life on her terms, as she chose, as independent as she could for as long as she could. She played the hand she was dealt without pity, but with dignity and strength and class. Such class. Barbara was a wonderful friend, and loved her friends and family so very much. Barbara, I know your next journey will be full of travel, a healthy heart, and lots of wonderful food at every turn. I am blessed to have known you, and that you allowed me into your life for a time. I will miss you deeply my dear.

My sympathy to Barb's family. I met Barb a few years ago when she joined our Dodgeville "red hat" group. I enjoyed visiting with her over lunch whenever she was able to join us. We will miss her. Jan Giffey

My sincere sympathies to the Bunker family. My mother, Phyllis Ueker Price, was an employee of the family for a number of years back in the 1940's, living there as a nanny. She has told many stories of her life with the Bunkers and the many happy memories. Barbara kept in touch with my mother until her death nine years ago, which meant a lot to her.
