Bruce James Besadny

Bruce and I went through Van Hise School and Madison Memorial High School together. But we spent most of our time together in Boy Scout Troop 122's Raccoon Patrol with Tim, Scott, Mark, and Jim. Bruce and the rest of us in Scouts had a great time camping and backpacking, and even selling firewood to raise money for our troop. We also made movies, and Bruce was the star of 'The 7th Trumpet'. Bruce was nice, hard working, smart, and fun to be with. We raccoon patrol mates of Bruce will miss him. Sincerely, Dirk Seibold

I remember Bruce as a great friend, devoted family man, and possessing a keen sense of humor and appreciation for the comically absurd. I remember a wedding reception where Bruce and I (Don) danced "the bump" with each other several times during the evening. Bruce's dance moves got us more than a few funny looks and laughs, as well as a (half) joking complaint from Janet that he was dancing more with me than her. Dear Janet, I learned today that Bruce passed away. I'm so sorry. I didn't really know Bruce, but I do remember you from many years ago. Gary passed away May 13, 2017 also. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Mary Lou Hardy
