One of my favorite memories of walking in the nature preserve after feasting on Thanksgiving. There never was a better friend. I already miss you, my sister.

Catherine was a dear friend for over 30 years, and I'm stunned at her sudden and unexpected passing. I will miss her and her sense of humor as long as I live.

I have always found Catherine to be a warm, delightful, highly intelligent woman with a scandelous sense of humor. Her contradictions made her the fascinatung women she was - forthright and direct yet extremely kind and loving, incredibly knowledgeable yet willing to share and educate, independent but a trustworthy friend. I miss you greatly. Sue D.

Dear Paul -- and sisters -- Catherine was one of my very first Madison friends, and in the nearly 20 years I knew her, she proved to have one of the rarest, most precious of qualities - ruthless honesty somehow always expressed with unmistakable love. She was a sweet-tart apple of a friend, and she helped me through one of my life's most difficult times without ever letting me forget my dignity - or hers. I loved to hear her laugh, to make her laugh, and to see her light up as she delivered some salty comment on the state of this or that - I just plain loved her. I am so sorry for your loss, Paul. I will remember Catherine, always.
