Obituary
MADISON-Wilma L. “Louise” Kellerhuis, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. She was born on Aug. 15, 1933, in Jackson, Iowa, the daughter of John and Ruby (Wagaman) McGrew. Louise worked as a meat wrapper for Kohl's food store and National Food store for many years until her retirement in 1995. Louise was the matriarch and cornerstone of her family. She loved all kinds of sports, especially basketball, and was a lifetime Iowa Hawkeyes fan. Louise was a wonderful cook, and loved to see her crowd of a family come together over one of her delicious meals. Louise loved her family and welcomed all the in-laws into the family with her unique, fiery brand of no-nonsense, that never failed to scare them straight. She always cherished the time spent in the "woods." Louise is survived by daughter, Terri Kellerhuis-Gilden; sons, Rodney (Nancy) Kellerhuis, John David (Sara) Kellerhuis, Steven (Tina) Kellerhuis and Ted (Barb) McGrew; and brother, Harold (Rose) McGrew; 12 Grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and YOU. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Maurice McGrew and Willis McGrew; sister, Darlene Frederickson; and special friend, Max Mills.
