Dorothy Mae Severson

MADISON - Dorothy M. Severson was called to heaven on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, in Madison, Wis., with her family at her side.  She was born in De Forest on March 22, 1925, to Julius and Rosella (Tenjum) Davidson.  Dorothy married Bernell “Bernie” Severson in 1948 and lived in Madison.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She deeply loved her family and being a good neighbor.  She is survived and loved by her daughters, Shirley (Allan) Casey of Colorado and Debra (Mark) Severson-Hetzel of Fitchburg; granddaughters, Courtney Hetzel of Edgerton and Sarah Hetzel of Fitchburg; as well as her sister, Marie Pauli of Belleville; sister-in-law, Elaine Davidson of Madison; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Ollis Davidson.  Funeral services will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Rd., Madison, on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sheryl Erickson presiding.
