Obituary
MADISON-Blair Andresen, age 64, died on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare, after a long illness. He was born on Jan. 7, 1953. Blair was married to Nancy for 33 years, and has a beloved son, Sam. Nancy and Blair met at the University of Minnesota in 1975 and made Madison their home in 1990. Blair was born in Minneapolis in 1953 and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1978. He played semi-pro hockey for one season. He worked as a sales engineer for several plastics companies and was lucky to retire at the young age of 50. He enjoyed bird watching, the Brewers, the Packers and almost any sport on TV. He enjoyed "paying it forward" at various restaurants (paying for strangers' meals). Blair is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Sam; dear sister, Judy Rolchigo (Phil); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Loren; and sister, Sharon. Besides his family, Blair will miss his good friend, Scot, and his RTP pals, Gerry, Scott and Harlan. I remember Blair from the early 1980's we trained in sales position for the Polymer Corp in Reading, Pa. good salesman and funny, articulate, and all around nice guy!
