Lois E Week

MADISON- Lois Elizabeth Week, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Randolph Health Services. She was born on Oct. 29, 1934, the daughter of Harold and Violet Schuette. Lois married Dr. Richard A. Week on Oct. 20, 1960, in Iowa City, Iowa. She lived an exciting and adventurous lifestyle that included boating, biking, deep sea fishing, and scuba diving in the Cayman Islands and the Florida Keys. Lois loved to travel and go on family vacations. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, always giving everything she had to make sure family came first. Lois is survived by her five children, Ronald (Erika) Week, Daniel (Christine) Week, James (Bernadette Stoher) Week, Laura (Steve Wilke) Week, and Theodore (Marret) Week; two step-daughters, Jane (Rob) Crawford and Gay (David) Huenink; 15 grandchildren, Jessica, Blaine, Danny, Kayla, Alexis, Sam, Annie, Nicholas, Dylan, Maria, Sarah, Alicia, Abby, Zoe and Emma; and 13 great-grandchildren, Savana, Mason, Landon, Faith, Roman, Fabian, Milan, Catalina, Destiny, Ashley, Hailey, Zachary, and Lilah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Week; parents, Harold and Violet Schuette; brother, Robert Schuette; sister, Phyllis Gasner; brother-in-law, Jack Gasner; and sister-in-law Betty Schuette. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison at 12 Noon on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
