Jeffrey D Kinson

MADISON - Jeffrey Douglas “Ben” Kinson, age 65, of Madison, passed away suddenly on Monday night, July 12, 2021, at his home in Monona. He was born on Dec. 25, 1955, a wonderful Christmas blessing to his parents, Roger Duane and Nancy Ann (Roege) Kinson. Jeff graduated from Monona Grove High School and then attended UW-Whitewater. For the majority of his life, Jeff loved working as a painter for his brother, Brad. Later, he worked parking cars at the Dane County Coliseum. Jeff loved to be outdoors, camping and fishing with his BFF, Janie, his dog, Max, and other numerous friends. He loved his hometown sports teams, the Packers, Badgers, Bucks and Brewers. His favorite indoor activities included weekly card games with neighbors and friends, shooting a lively game of pool at one of his favorite hangouts, Snicks, a day of slots at Ho Chunk and most recently, he could be found daily at the local dog park with his beloved dog, Max. Jeff was one of the kindest, most gentle souls that would do anything for a neighbor or friend - including giving you the shirt off his back. He was a blessing to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Nancy; girlfriend, Janie Sanderson; brothers, Gregory (Carol) Kinson, Bradley (Elaine) Kinson and Douglas (Barbara) Kinson; sister, Kristi Kinson; his beloved dog, Max; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Tyler, Brady, Coleman, Cassidy and Kaley Kinson; great-nephew, Aaron Kinson; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Roger; best bud, Frenchie; and numerous aunts and uncles. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., on Saturday, July 24, 2021, followed by a celebration of life at SNICKS SPORTSMAN BAR, 4605 Monona Drive, Monona.
