Harland S Bright

It was a great year of memories this year before grandpa passed. It was so incredible having him be part of Cassie and Alec's wedding and riding the school bus with us downtown for photos. While we had a great party for Cassie this summer visiting from Germany with many extended family members, little did we know how this would serve as an awesome double event with many people getting to see Grandpa one last time. Some great memories at this time of loss. Love you Grandpa!!! Neil

I have known Harland since 1981 when I started to work for U.W. Chemistry Dept. He introduce me into handball and we played at the Natatorium over years. Harland and I had collision and I injured my middle finger on the hand. It still not straight. I enjoy playing with him. Harland loved to attempt to play golf. Him and I were about the same. "We tried"! I am still trying today. One time Harland and I went to the golf show and he bought a putter with a fat handle in hope it improve he putting. He was still trying for many years but with no such luck. I enjoyed over the years having breakfast every Tuesday with him and the neighbors. We were good friends and I will miss very much. Also I will miss the politics we talked about over years. Golfing Buddy David Snyder
