Lossau, Marlyn Joan
VILLA PARK, IL/DALLAS, TX/LODI, WI-Marlyn Joan Lossau, age 84, passed away on August 22, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born December 16, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Marvin and Evelyn Lossau. Marlyn worked for Illinois Bell, retiring in 1985 after 35 years. She enjoyed knitting and animals. Marlyn loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, especially traveling with her family. Marlyn is survived by her sister, Barbara (Jim) Sawyer; niece, Jennifer (Mark) Seidler; nephew, Christopher (Wendy) Sammarco and great nieces and nephews, Ian, Catie and Sean Seidler and Trail and Brooks Sammarco. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanne Sammarco and brother-in-law, Louis Sammarco. Private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Lung Association or the Columbia County Humane Society Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Marlyn, I feel so blessed to have visited with you just last week. I will miss our monthly gab sessions at Barb's where you always made sure to ask, how Ms. Liberty Belle was. Thank you always for my endless supply of your dishrags made with love.

I worked with Marlyn at Illinois Bell. I left Bell in 1972 when my first child was born but Marlyn kept in touch with me all these years. I last head from her in June when she sent my husband & I an anniversary card. I will miss her. Sandi Zordani - Algonquin, IL
