Jade Miller

CROSS PLAINS-Jade Rae Marie Miller, age 11, of Cross Plains, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017. She was born on Jan. 5, 2006, in Gary, IN, the beautiful daughter of Raymond Miller and Javon Spencer. Nicknamed “Happy” by her grandmother, Jade twirled through life spreading light, love, and glitter. There is so much to be said about such a sweet girl, yet words will never truly capture her pure spirit and blinding love. Jade loved many things; she loved the rainbow, peace, and nature. She loved reading, singing, and dancing in the rain; but above all, Jade loved to love. Family and friends were everything to her. She had a deep love and profound faith in God, and served Him boldly. Jade was a professor of hugs and an advocate of excessive cuddling and kisses. She was always laughing and her contagious smile brightened anyone’s day. Jade’s radiating light was out of this world, and will be deeply missed by everyone who basked in it.  Jade is survived by her parents, Javon Spencer and Raymond (Valacity) MIller; twin siblings, Justice and Josiah Spencer; brothers, Joseph Spencer, Jeremiah Miller and Raymond Nathaniel Miller III; sisters, Delilah Miller and Oliviah Miller; grandparents, Rose Silvas and Alice Pryor; two aunts, Kay (Kayla) Spencer and Laura (Nathaniel) Robinson; uncle, Derrick Miller; special cousins, Devin Miller and Jasmine Thompson; two great-uncles, Jimmie and Willie Woodley; two great-aunts, Ernie Caldwell and Travietta Woodley; and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at MADISON MENNONITE CHURCH (formerly ORCHARD RIDGE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST), 1501 Gilbert Rd. Madison, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, with Pastor Ron Adams presiding. Visitation will be held at church from 12 noon until the time of the service on Saturday.
