Judy Kay Pellett

FALL RIVER/MADISON-Judy K. Pellett, age 72, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017.  She was born on June 25, 1945, in Richland Center, the daughter of Cecil and Isabelle (Turner) Burke. Judy graduated from Richland Center High School.  She married her best friend, Bernard Pellett, and they just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.  She spent many years working for the family business, Cecil’s Sandals and retired from her MG&E family in 2011. Judy was a very caring, loving and generous person. She loved and cherished her family and friends, especially her two granddaughters.  Judy was a 2nd mom to many and each one of us will carry on thoughts and memories that we share with each other.  She adored all animals and advocated for them, but particularly loved her dachshund fur babies.  Judy enjoyed creating and giving beautiful quilts and baskets to friends and family.  She also enjoyed golfing, bowling, gambling, reading, chocolate and cheering on the Green Bay Packers!  Judy is survived by her husband, Bernard; daughter, Christine (Steven) Venden; son, Dan (Brandi) Pellett; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Dennis) Hayes and Courtney Pellett; brother, Ronald (Diane) Burke; and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., and again from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
