Patricia Narf

OREGON-Patricia L. “Pat” Narf, age 73, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, while fighting an aggressive kidney cancer.  She was born on Oct. 1, 1944, in Madison, the daughter of Ben “Florio” and Helen (Gray) Benedetti.  Patricia received her bachelor’s degree from the UW-Madison.  She married Richard Narf on Feb. 15, 1964, in Madison.  Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her father, Florio; husband, Richard; daughter, Maria Spuller of Winston-Salem, NC; son, Steven (Aryka Johnson); granddaughters, Cassandra and Clara, and grandson, Adric;  and brother, David Benedetti of Denver, Colo.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; sister, Susan; and brother, Joseph.  A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Patricia’s name to the American Cancer Society or Agrace HospiceCare.  The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and the field nurses/staff and doctors of Agrace HospiceCare for their kind help and service.  Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care 5203 Monona Drive       608-221-5420
