MILWAUKEE- Dale Christine Graf, age 70, of Milwaukee, passed on to a better life on Sunday, March 31, 2019. She was born on March 3, 1949, in Plainfield, New Jersey, the daughter of Charles E. and Georgiana L. (Woolston) Roser. Dale graduated LaSalle Junior College in Newton, Massachusetts and, later in life, attended MATC in Wisconsin to receive a degree in interior design. Dale worked as an interior designer for Lise Lawson Interior Design in Milwaukee, WI. She married Robert Flowers on April 3, 1993 in Singer Island, Florida. Dale had a great sense of humor and loved to belly laugh. She was kind beyond measure, a patient listener, and a compassionate and loyal mom and friend. Dale is remembered as a big-hearted gift giver and an amazing cook. She was a free spirit who loved "beaching it,” shopping, and the thrill of being the passenger on a Harley motorcycle. Dale was a wonderful wife, outstanding mother, and caring grandmother who loved just "being" with her family. Dale is survived by husband, Robert Keith Flowers; daughter, Holly Christine (Dan) Barnish; son, Tyler (Kim) Graf; grandchildren, Alex, Charlie, and Kyle Barnish, and Dylan and Spencer Graf; step-daughter, Shannon Flowers; and her first husband, Robert J. Dale was my dear ex-sister-in-law. She was beloved by all who knew her. A fun loving and caring woman, always with a laugh and smile! Party time? Dale was definitely in. I remember so many events, many Christmas Eves in particular, when Dale, enjoying the company , partied into the night. She was a great Mom to Holly and Tyler and a great friend to the rest of us in the extended Graf ( and in-laws) family. The first time I met her she was helping my mother-in-law host a dinner party for my ( now) wife while we were seniors in high school. Who was that young and vivacious Iady I wondered? When I was first married, I recall that Dale and Joe were the first to invite my wife and me , as a newly married couple of our own, to their house for a dinner party. Just the 4 of us...and Dale was such a good cook. I recall being at her 30th birthday party, meeting many of her friends. . Like many, having once met Dale, you never forgot her. This may be a time for sadness and remembrances, but more importantly a time to remember and relish all the happiness we shared with Dale. I will always remember Dale as the young woman whom I first met so many years ago at that dinner party on 77th street. . May her memory always be a blessing! Bob Johannes.

Dale was my step mom . My greatest memories of her would be us keeping things simple and having our long talks about life , love and family . My children and I would have a wonderful time spending our weekends together with dale & my dad . Dale was easy to talk to , kind , funny and a great listener. My family and I are truly blessed to have had dale apart of our lives for so many years . She will be forever missed and loved ......

Dale was married to my brother Joe and I will never forget when he came home from Boston College and he said he was engaged to someone. (an East Coaster!) I was 12 at the time. He told me that she was really fat and not too pretty - and I believed him! He liked to tease me back then. When I met his new fiance, to my surprise, she was very thin, and very beautiful. And needless to say, she was extraordinarily warm, smart, creative, fun and I really looked up to her. She was definitely a mentor to me through my high school years. Dale was a great cook and had exquisite taste. Her home was beautiful, and she always found the best thoughtful gifts!
Her two children, Holly, whom is my godchild, and Tyler are great examples of her love. One of her grandchildren, one of Holly and husband Dan's - Kyle is my godchild also. I just wish they could have known her in her healthier years.
Dale will always be close to my heart and I know she is proud of her family.
Peace, dear Dale!

The Kansas City gang enjoyed and loved your mother! She was a beautiful woman inside and out and always so much fun to be around. I believe she knew how to have fun dancing on tables! Holly and Tyler may you find peace that is she in a peaceful place without pain only joy. You now have an angel who will encourage to always take the road less traveled and enjoy life like she did. Dale made the flower girl’s dress for my wedding. My flower girl was Holly. My bridesmaids wore red dresses and Holly wore a white eyelet dress with red ribbons. Holly stole the show!
Thanks, Dale
