Obituary
STOUGHTON-Anita L. Lescohier, age 75, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 17, 1942, in Waukesha, the daughter of Otto and Margaret (Glimme) Berman. She married James E. Lescohier on Aug. 17, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nev. Anita grew up in Fort Atkinson and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1960. She retired from Davis Duehr in 2007, but continued to work part-time at Exclusively Roses. Mom enjoyed passing the time reading, completing puzzles and maintaining the beautiful landscaping at home, including the gorgeous flowers in her backyard. However, her favorite pastime and what gave her pure joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anita is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Sandy (Roy “Skip”) Paton; sons, Randall and Michael Lescohier; grandchildren, Olivia and Joshua Lescohier; brother, John Berman (Louella Burdick); and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy. 51N at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or the Dane County Humane Society. The family would like to thank the Agrace nurses and staff for the care and compassion shown to Anita. You are surely in my thoughts and prayers. Anita was a very nice lady and I enjoyed the visits with her. She is now resting and at peace. It is soooo hard to lose a loved one so very, very close to you. Cherish the memories!

Jim and family;
So very sorry to hear of Anita passing. She was my first "beer buddy" , as we both turned 18 in the early months of '60 and spent our first outing to THE POINT together . . . I will NEVER forget that night and the later fallout from our escapade!!
More than that though, she was a truly great friend with a heart of gold, always amiable and happy . . .
one of our "clique"I honor with my sincere sympathy and deepest heartfelt thoughts.
WILL MISS YOU BERMS!!
