Robert "Bob" Kelsey

COLUMBUS/MADISON-Robert “Bob” Kelsey, age 62, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017.  He was born on April 23, 1955, in Madison, the son of Donald Kelsey and Winnifred Waddell.  Bob married Dawn Waterman on July 30, 1977, in Madison. He graduated from Madison East High School.  Bob was employed by Robbins Manufacturing.  The most important thing, in Bob’s life, was his family.  He loved spending time with them, especially his beloved grandchildren. Bob was an avid sportsman and sailor.  He also enjoyed long rides on his Harley.  Bob will, most of all, be remembered for his wry sense of humor and a heart as big as the world.  Robert is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Aaron (Andrea) Kelsey; grandchildren, Hayden and Hailey Kelsey; brother, Gary (Mary) Kelsey; and sister, Rochelle Kelsey. He was preceded in death by his parents.  A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017, with Steve Zwettler presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service on Friday.
