Lindsey Erickson

WAUNAKEE-Lindsey L. Erickson, age 33, of Waunakee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at home.  She was born on June 18, 1984, in Madison, the daughter of Roger (Liz) Erickson and Janice (David) Furey-Thering.  Lindsey graduated from LaFollette High School in 2002.  She had a long career in the banking industry and she was loved by all her customers and coworkers.  Lindsey was relied on heavily for training new employees.  She was a leader and innovator in assisting the customer's wants and needs.  Lindsey enjoyed spending time with friends and going to concerts.  Lindsey was a music enthusiast and especially liked listening to rock music.  She loved her family and the family dog, Montana.  Lindsey is survived by her parents; brothers, Brent (Amanda) Erickson, Ryan Erickson, Brandon Thering, Kevin and Jeff Thompson and Corey and Travis Thering; aunt, Carol Erickson; cousins, Joe and Roger Todaro; and many friends.  She was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Elaine Furey and Gordon and Anna-Lisa Erickson; and an uncle, Jeffrey Furey.  A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.  Private family interment will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lindsey's name to Journey Mental Health Center Inc.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care5203 Monona Drive608-221-5420
