Obituary
MIDDLETON-Ronald A. Kempfer, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at UW Hospital after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma and Plasma Cell Leukemia. He was born on February 1, 1961, the son of Fred and Mary (Meier) Kempfer. Ron attended Middleton High School. He was a member of IBEW Local No. 159 as an electrician. Ron enjoyed spending time at his shop and taking care of his cats. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Ron is survived by his father, Fred Kempfer; siblings, Linda (Gary) Kuehn, Don Kempfer, Curt Kempfer, Lauri (Kevin) Tyrrell and Kelly (Tony) Borchert; nephew and niece, Spencer and Riley Kuehn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Kempfer in 2016; brother, Frederick John Kempfer in 1964; grandparents, Fred and Sylvia Kempfer and John and Mary Meier. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Avenue, Middleton, at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

My condolences to you Fred and your family. Ron worked for me on a job for staff electric in about 2008. He was a great electrician to have on my job I was happy to work with him. I am so sorry for your loss Fred. I think of you often and the many lunches we had on Fridays. I hope all is well under the circumstances I hope to bump into you someday soon.
