Obituary

OREGON/MADISON-Kelly Rene Beauchaine, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at UW Hospital.  She was born on June 3, 1960, the daughter of Kathleen (Van Etten) and Richard DaWalt.  Kelly graduated from Oregon High School with the class of 1978.  She married Kenn Arthur Beauchaine on May 24, 1981.  Kelly loved camping, reading, family and friends.  She worked for the City of Madison IT team for over 20 years.   Kelly also enjoyed fishing, campfire chat, old movies, quiet time, the Green Bay Packers, drag racing, nature and spending time with her family and husband.  She was a generous woman, always thinking of others before herself and often sacrificing herself for family and friends.  She loved them unconditionally.  Kelly is survived by her husband, Kenn; two children, Sheena (Matthew) Beauchaine-McLaughlin and Ross Beauchaine; grandchildren, Meira and Jacob McLaughlin; brothers, Nick DaWalt and Jeff DaWalt (who sadly passed away just 13 hours after Kelly); sisters, Judy Merwin and Kim DaWalt; father-in-law, John L. Beauchaine; sisters-in-law, Jeannie DaWalt, Su DaWalt, Janine Beauchaine, Cindy Beauchaine and Michelle Beauchaine; brothers-in-law, Mark Beauchaine, John Beauchaine and David Beauchaine; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved collie, Mac.  She was preceded in Heaven by her parents; parents-in-law, Margaret Beauchaine and Gordy Napstad; and sisters, Karen DaWalt-White and Jackie DaWalt and her beloved collie, Scout.  A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017.  A celebration of Kelly’s life with food, spirit and fellowship will follow after the service until 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Kelly’s brother, Jeff DaWalt to the Madison VA Hospital, Hospice Unit.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com
