Carole J Baumgartner

MADISON-Carole J. Baumgartner, age 74, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital.  She was born on Sept. 22, 1942, in Oxford, Wis., the daughter of Robert and Alice Lloyd.  Carole is survived by her sons, Jim and David; grandson, Jim Baumgartner; granddaughter, Lana Shea (Joe) Mattia; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judi Holcombe and Barbara (Harold) Lloyd; two sisters-in-law, Betty Powers and Shirley Jockman; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins; and her beloved dog, Lucky.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lenny; and infant son, Terry.  Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.  Memorials may be made to the Dane County Human Society or Home Health United, 2802 Walton Commons, Madison, WI 53718.  A special thank you to friends, especially Bobbie and Linda and the Krause family who have been lifelong friends and neighbors.  Thank you also to Home Health United for such loving care, especially Tina and Laura.
