Obituary
MADISON-Rhett Plummer, age 31, son of Gaylord Plummer and Cathy Edwards of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Rhett was a creative, gentle soul who was a great help to his parents, his Gram Kathlyn, his “Uncle Eugene”, his Grandma Jean, and his Aunt Nancy. He was constantly learning and had dreams cut tragically short of pursuing his interest in music and writing. He was a true friend to those who knew him. He’ll be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral services will be held at, BURKE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5720 Portage Road, Madison at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, with Pastor Robert Neubert presiding. Burial will be held at Burke Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at the church to follow burial. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. I'm so, so sorry to hear of Rhett's passing. I loved him like another little brother. He was the sweetest soul I've ever met and maybe just too sweet for this world. I cannot imagine what you are going through. The Varriale family extends its deepest sympathies. I wish there was anything we could say.

I've met Rhett a few times and we've hung out a few. I hope the pictures help I wish I had more, he seemed like a great person. It sucks that he his gone and I wish we could do more to help. Let us know if there is anything we can do, I understand this is tough for everyone and it's awful that it happened.
