Cindy, Cheryl & Gary - there aren't words to express how sad we are that this world has lost Doc. There is no doubt that he will live on in the hearts and lives of so many. He touched everyone he encountered. I am so thankful that I was fortunate enough to get to know him and in turn get to know the family so well. Cindy, we are sisters from different mothers and will always be connected. Thanks Doc, for bringing us together! He will be missed! Chuck and Doc shared a common bond as brothers in the Teamsters and also had some good times together. Many memories .. Go Badgers! Go Packers! Go Cubbies!!!!!! Kathy & Chuck

As Doc's real life "doc" for many years, I had great respect for his positive and enthusiastic approach to life. He bounced back from the loss of his beloved wife and showed us all how to keep on living despite such a hard loss. I did get a chance to see him once after I retired when I stopped up to visit him in the hospital a while back. Even in the face of illness, he continued to radiate a joy in life and readiness for whatever would come next. He will be missed. Best wishes to his family. Cal Bruce

I will always remember all the little league, legion, and high school baseball games that I had the privilege to sit next to Doc. His passion and knowledge for the game always amazed me. He not only had an influence on his children and grandchildren, but he also had an influence on the kids that were around them. Thanks for all those baseball talks Doc......I for sure will miss them. What a spectacular man! He reminded me so much of my dad. It was a pleasure knowing him for the past couple of years. Hugs to all of you!

Cheryl, Gary and Cindy, My prayers, thoughts and deepest sympathy are with you all with the passing of your father, "Doc". Great and wonderful memories of our collective times and laughs together back in Monona. Simply fantastic times. Your Dad and Mom were very nice people and are reunited once again, they can look upon you all and say "well done with love". I will miss the celebration of Doc's life as I will be out of town. Warmest regards, Dave Moen
