Obituary
DEERFIELD-Sandra R. Kinnaird, age 69, of Deerfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 6, 1947, in Madison, the daughter of Virgil and Rachel (Petty) Laubmeier. Sandra graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1965. She enjoyed NASCAR, and was a big Matt Kenseth fan and member of the Matt Kenseth Fan Club. Sandra was a social butterfly, independent, determined, giving and never asked anything from anyone. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was surrounded by all those she loved from the beginning of her illness to the end. Sandra is survived by sons, David (Wendy) Kinnaird Jr. of Lake Mills, Todd (Judy) Kinnaird of Cambridge and Eric Kinnaird of McFarland; grandchildren, Dalton Kinnaird, Devin Kinnaird, Davis (special friend, Allie) Kinnaird, Alison Kinnaird and Bryce Kinnaird; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Laubmeier; sister, Colleen Garske; and her canine companion, Radar. A Celebration of Sandra's life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017, with the Rev. Holly Slater presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 Highway BB, Madison, on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. The family would like to give a special thanks to Agrace HospiceCare for all of their wonderful care and support. I worked with Sandy in the 80's. A day didn't go by that she didn't do or say something to make me laugh. I really missed her when she left the company. My deepest sympathy to the family! Thinking of you Eric!

Any time I ever spent with her, she always had a smile to share. Even when she was sick you could hear the smile in her voice over the phone.

My sympathies to her family. This is everybody's loss who knew her. I will think of Sandy (as I do today) every time I go down Milwaukee Street past their old house. Since I live on the east side so this is quite frequent. Sandy invited Colleen and I to spend a week there one summer when Davey was a toddler and Todd was a baby. Colleen and I would stroll up to K-Mart on Milwaukee Street (long gone and forgotten by most) just to get the boys outside. Those walks quickly ended when Davey tried walking there by himself!!! More recently, Sandy would join the Meier cousins for 'patties on the grill' which is an old family recipe that was shared by a mutual aunt (Eleanore). Sandy would arrive early so she could help with the tedious task of wrapping those patties. The Meier cousins will surely miss her at those events. Rest in peace, sweet cousin.

My sympathies to Dave, Todd, Eric and family. I will think of her fondly whenever we have "patties on the grill" and miss the time we spent socializing and reminiscing about days gone by. Rest in peace Sandy.

Condolences for Sandy's family from her cousin Betty Ella. Fond memories of visiting from California with her and "Davie" when my brother Dan and I were kids. Lots of berry picking and eating of same, avoiding the free range pigs who did not like company and telling each other scary UFO stories in the root cellar. Wonderful memories of a great cousin!
