Will was a special person in my life. Becoming life long friends with his sons starting in high school I would come over to there house all the time. He was always so kind and generous. With other high school friends Tom and Dan we would all go to Lake Vermillion. Will and Elaine would invite us over to the cabin for burgers with all the goodies. Later Will would take us on a boat ride in the Thompson. What great memories. I will miss him very much. Love to the Worringer family. Greg Harper

I was privileged to spend many hours with Bill "Willy" Worringer in the CV-440 during the 1960s. He was always a pleasure to work with and a very competent and professional pilot. He always set a good example at everything that he did, socially and in his profession. A few years ago I spent an afternoon with him at his home on Lake Vermilion, near Tower Minnesota. Willie always had a twinkle in his eye and was fun to be around. To his family I can only say that we have lost a really wonderful man and he will be missed. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss and may God Bless and Keep you all in his care. Richard Brown, former co-pilot, NCA & REP

I also had the good fortune of sharing a cockpit with Will over the years at NCA, not only a great pilot who loved aviation in all forms but a Captain who always made flying fun and enjoyable for the entire crew. The old saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" was certainly true for Will as in later years I had the pleasure of flying with his sons Randy and Rick. I am sure Will takes great comfort in the fact his legacy continues. My sincere condolences to the entire Worringer family. I know he will be greatly missed.

I knew Bill back in the forties. Also friends with Elaine. We were sponsors at the baptism of their first child. My Bill was nvited into the cockpit on one occasion. I knew his Mother very well. She adored her Billy. Godspeed to Bill.
