Carol J. Foreyt

COTTAGE GROVE-Carol Jean Foreyt, age 83, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare.  She was born on Oct. 1, 1933, in Madison, the daughter of Elmer and Valeria (Priebe) Rogge.  She married Ronald Foreyt on March 14, 1953, in Madison.  Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Associated Milk Producers.  She also worked the family farm in Cottage Grove with her husband, Ronald. Carol enjoyed playing cards (especially Euchre), Sudoku puzzles, fishing trips to Canada, penny slots and any animals, but especially cats.  Carol was always the quiet one in the room, but her kindness spoke volumes to the people that were privileged to know her.  Carol is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ronald; daughter, Terri (Dennis Laridaen) Frey; sister, Joan (Lawrence) Hefty; and numerous other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Debra Lynn Foreyt.  According to Carol’s wishes, private funeral services will be held and burial will take place at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Gunderson EastFuneral & Cremation Care5203 Monona Drive608-221-5420
