MADISON- Julie Ann McPhee, age 60, of Madison, Wis. passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born on March 31, 1957. She is survived by two daughters, Jamie McClendon and Jillian Matthews. Julie recently became a grandmother to Jah'vette Matthews. She is further survived by her mother, Janet Stebbins; and her three brothers. Julie was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Malik. She worked for 30 years at Gardner's Bakery, now called Bimbo Bakeries, the scent of baking bread while driving down E. Washington will always remind her children of her coming home in the morning. She loved riding her bike and hiking. Julie brought joy to everyone she ever met and she never stopped smiling and laughing. We love you, Mom! A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Julie was such a beautiful woman in many ways. How appropriate to remember her on Mothers' Day. She loved her daughters with all her heart. She will be missed by so many that loved her warm smile and gentle spirit. Peace to her loved ones in the knowledge that she is now safely home.
