My sincere condolences to the Sandsnes Family and Friends. I only met Eric a few times at the Wis Society of Land Surveyors, Annual Institute, but knew his father very well. Great guys, both. On behalf of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors Foundation, We would like to extend a heart felt "Thank You" for the honor you've bestowed to the Foundation to help provide additional funds through scholarships for the education of future Land Surveyors.

Our group of friends wouldn't be caught anywhere else on banquet night in those days. I couldn't imagine anyone more deserving of the honor, and given that Eric's dad had won it before him, there was an almost "epic" aura to the evening... there in the warmth of our racing fraternity. Good times - gone too soon.
